Biomolecular Design & Structural Nanomedicine
Welcome to the Castells-Graells Lab!
The Castells-Graells lab is located at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO), a leading centre in the study of cancer.
Our lab specializes in protein design, structural biology, and synthetic biology, leveraging AI-driven approaches to engineer protein cages, nanomachines, and other biomolecules with precise functions. By combining these innovations with detailed studies of viral structures, we explore new ways to manipulate biological systems.
Our goal is to translate these advances into nanomedicine, developing cutting-edge tools and therapeutic platforms that address critical challenges in cancer and human health.
